OPERATION CHINA SHOP Marines from the 3/1 kicking ass in Thar Thar region of Anbar province,june 25-26..The first cache contained 121 IEDs,more than half were armed.The second cache contained in a room was high-explosives stacked 3ft high under a United nations flag.The explosives could have been used to make 80 large IEDs.Three AQ were killed and 26 captured..In Sadr city coalition soldiers captured five insurgents and uncovered three caches.In the Rashid neighborhood of Amil US forces found a cache of rocket parts (all manufactured in Iran)..Also two weapon caches were found in mosques in Rashid.Read more www.weeklystandard.com

OPERATION PHANTOM STRIKE KICKS OFF and the major targets are Iranian backed elements of the Mahdi Army,as well as the Qods Force-created special group terror cells..Since the announcment Iraqi and US forces have hit these Iranian backed groups especially hard in Baghdad and Najaf the two strong holds of Muqtada al Sadar and his army.Coalition Forces killed four"rogue jaysh-al-mahdi operatives" and captured eight more during a raid inside Sadr City..These militants are also known to have ties to illicit material smuggling from Iran...AUGUST 13,Iraqi Special Operation Forces captured 12 mahdi army operatives,one brigade commander,one battalion commander,two company commanders,and one leader of an extra-judicial killing cell..The brigade commander is responsible for five groups under his command,one of which transported IEDs from Iran into Iraq..He had recently ordered an IED attack which killed two US soldiers...The reports of Iran taking part in the violence against IA,US forces and the Iraqi population are clear..The Iranians dont even try to hide their envolvment in attacks all over Iraq any more.As the General prepares his report on the SURGE Im not sure whos worse the congress or the Iranian backed terrorists they both seem to want the exact same outcome FAILURE to our troops..AMERICA needs to remmember what they were doing on the day those towers fell,the pain we suffered as a country..Just remmember the GULF WAR,if the world would have completed their mission and ousted Saddam it would have sent a clear message to the scumbags all over the world the free world will not stand idle.We cannot stand by and let these AQ-Taliban,terrorist groups destroy the free world,if we do not finish this war on terrorism it will get worse for our childrens children later.God Bless our brave soldiers everywhere,and God Bless your families for their sacrafices..You are not forgotten..My heart and prayers to all.. Al Qaedas Counter offensive...Is it their version of the Tet Offensive?AQ over the past 48 hours have conducted five-high profile attacks against Iraqi and US targets!Over 200 AQ fighters attacked Mosgues and homes of tribal sheiks..They blew up the mosque and then blew up the homes crowded wiht family members,in the village south of Baqubah..The 1920s revolution brigade a sunni insurgent group faught side by side with IP forces in Kanan..It is hard to know how many AQ were killed because they were loaded into the back of p/u trucks and taken away..About 60 AQ fighters struck civilian targets in Salahadin province..These guys were targeting US and IP forces but turned to killing the civilians to show the American public things are not going so well..General P and Ambassadors crockers report to congress is growing near and AQs attempt to ramp up the violence in the short term and to effect the debate in the US..These brutal attacks to try and effect the debate in the US are turning the Iraqi population against the AQ in the long term!!..Many people say AQ has been braught into Iraq since the topple of Saddam,but there is documented reports Al-Zarqawi and others injured in Afghanistan spent time in hospitals around Iraq..Also for those of you that believe this was an unjust war for oil,ask those who were saved from the tortures,rape,and murderous tactics the Saddam ruler imposed on them to control the country of Iraq..So for you none supporters and the pull out nows,,who are giving our troops a bad name(kiss my ass) respectively...As I wear our colors,the red,white,n blue and people take that second look I feel proud to be an American,and I am very proud of our soldiers and their mission to keep these colors free and to free Iraq.God Bless You and your families for your sacrafices..Semper Fi

Today we should give thanks to PO2 Mathew Axelson,Danny Dietz,Lieutenant Mike Murphy and Marcus Lattrell..While hunting down a hi value target at about ten thousaand feet in Afghanistan on JUNE 28 05,Dietz,Murphy,Axelson and Lattrell were compromised by locals and instead of killing them they gambled they would not tell the Taliban.These navy seals were ambushed by overwelming numbers of Taliban fighters- Axelson,Dietz and Murphy were killed but not before taking alot of bad guys with them.Marcus Lattrell while wounded used his escape and evade training and later was reunited with American forces.The outstanding heroism and the fire fight is in a book (LONE SURVIVOR) the words are from Marcus Luttrell's account of june 28 05.. Their is also a gentlemen who comments as POPS on the milblogs.Give him your respect he is the father of Mathew Axelson one of the fallen warriors..Dietz,Axelson and Luttrell received the Navy Cross.Lieutenant Mike Murphy has received this countries highest honor the MEDAL OF HONOR for his bravery and outstanding heroism for his actions that day...OOOOORRRAAAAAHHHHH Semper Fi

So Ive been doing the HVAC/R work for a company over 20 years.Got a little booboo on my elbow and the boss says don't go to workers comp..Thats a big nono he says I will go out of business so I regretfully complied..So after the second rate medical treatment I received for about three months and then got the shot in the elbow,you know the cure all shot..Well it swelled and I couldn't move it,so I explained that I could not afford to be out of work anymore vacation time gone sick days all gone and I would need to go thru W/C.My buddyboss says take a month off I'll let ya draw unemployment,sounds like an ok deal,let it rest right,wrong answer.Two weeks later I received a letter in the mail from E T HArris and sons saying I was no longer needed because I could not do my job!!!Two sentences??20+ years I took a bank rupt appliance repair business IRS closing the doors, and built a top five HVAC/R company in plattsburgh n y..So after I couldn't get the ass hat to return my calls I did a little digging around and found out that he had fallen back into his gambling,cocaine and drinking hole again..His trip to atlantic city cost him 22,000 dollars,so he morgaged his homestead for 58,000 dollars to keep the business open...HHHMmmm some people just have very short memmories and no guts and 0 class...So at 48 I lost my house and had to get another job??For the last year Ive been employed by a large company stationed out of watertown ny and they want a branch here in plattsburgh so guess what?? I picked my ass up and moved in next to my inlaws went to work and a year later things are getting better..I got a wild hair the other day and went into the Army recruiters asking if maybe I might get into the reservers,I'm filling out paper work as we speak and banking on getting an age waver, with my prior military and just maybe I can serve again..With my prior military and the age cutoff for the reserves I'm a year short hence the age waver..The Army sgt says why would you give up your union job decent pay and retirment to more than likely get orders to Iraq or Afghanistan..Well I said it's just something I got to do...When I think about how hard this past couple years have been on my family and myself,I just think about our young soldiers over there and their wifes and children here at home I guess my troubles just aren't so bad..So people just remmember those soldiers and the sacrafices they endure and your troubles aren't so bad either..God Bless our military and their families..Thank You Semper Fi
